A mark left in my soul,
A stamp imprinted on my heart,
A piece there that should be forgotten,
I might be forgotten,but i still want you like i want to live,
Kindness use to fill my heart with joy,
Now you smile to her my world gets darker and fills with shadows.

Sun rays warming the earth,
Grass waiting to grow,
The smell of long gone rain filling the air,
Blue skies,white clouds, lonely tress in the distance,
I taste the spring air,
I feel the warmth of the sun beams,
The mud trying to trap your feet forever in its hold,
A bird flies through the air, wings beating against the unseen air,
Air ruffles its feathers warming its soul,giving into the unseen arms,
The sounds of birds singing their song never to be lost, but to be heard.

She lays beneath the earth,
Never coming back,
It's mothers day now she only get flowers for her tomb,
I sit and watch the wind blow away her secrets,
Her love forever there,
Now I thank her for the life shes giving me and made peace with the air.

Distruction every where,
homeless,
dead bodies,
every thing is ruined what will we do?
who will we turn to?
where will we go?
